Davide di Summa obtained a Master’s Degree in Building Engineering from Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy, in 2016. He spent two semesters of his Master abroad: one at the University of Seville, Spain and the second one at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. These experiences allowed him to further develop and reinforce his knowledge about the sustainability in the built environment and the real estate market. Davide is passionate about travel and curious to understand new cultures, he increased his international background working in UK and Italy for two years developing competences in the field of Project Management for civil works. In 2019 he started researching advanced cementitious materials able to shield the electromagnetic waves working as a Research Fellow at the University of Bergamo and collaborating with some departments of the Polytechnic of Turin. In the SMARTINCS project, he will realize a well-founded cradle-to-grave LCA for the different self-healing materials developed in the project.
