The R&D laboratories of Buzzi Unicem group are located in Italy (Trino Vercellese) and in Germany (Wilhelm Dyckerhoff Institute, Wiesbaden). The laboratories contain equipment for casting and curing of mortars and concretes, testing of fresh and early age properties, physical/mechanical test of concrete, shrinkage of concrete, durability of concrete, microscopical characterisation, thermal analysis monitoring, powder characterisation, and a pilot burning kiln.
