The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) is the world leading not-for-profit organisation for the provision of technical knowledge and pre-normative documents about the technology and design of concrete and reinforced concrete structures. fib is committed to advancing the technical, economic, aesthetic and environmental performance of concrete structures worldwide Besides technically-based Bulletins fib’s main work is the Model Code (MC) for Concrete Structures which is the most sound and comprehensive concrete code and basis for various concrete design standards worldwide, e.g. EN 1992-1-1. fib is formed by 45 National Members Group reflecting a real international perspective and outstanding contributions related to up-to-date concrete science and technology.
