What data we collected and why we collect it:

  1. Site visitation tracking

This site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people who use our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their tour of the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographic location, device, Internet browser and operating system, none of this information identifies you personally. GA also records the IP address of your computer that could be used to personally identify you but Google does not grant us access to this. We believe that Google is a third-party data processor. GA makes use of cookies, whose details can be found in the Google Developer Guides. For your information, our website uses GA’s analytics.js implementation. The deactivation of cookies in your Internet browser will prevent GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website. 

  1. Subscriptions to the newsletter of the project

If you choose to join our newsletter by email (Newsletter), the email address you send will be sent to MailChimp that will provide us with email marketing services. The email address you send will not be stored in the database of this website or in any of our internal computer systems. We believe that MailChimp is a third-party data processor, you can check Mailchimp’s privacy policy here.

How long will we keep this data?

Your email address will remain in the MailChimp database as long as we continue to use MailChimp’s email marketing services or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by cancelling the subscription using the unsubscribe links that appear in the newsletters we send you.

While your email address remains in the MailChimp database, you will receive periodic emails every time we post a new post on the blog in the style of the newsletter.

IMPORTANT: If you are under 16, you MUST obtain parental consent before joining our newsletter by email.

 

Your Rights and Access to Information

In accordance with current legislation, you may have the following rights:
